Yellow-rumped Thornbill (Acanthiza inornata)

Due to the size of these birds and there constant movements I struggle to get a good shot of them. They spend a lot of time on the ground feeding. This is my best to date.
Habitat
Grassy woofdlands
Location
Gloucester NSW
Scientific name
Acanthiza inornata
Equipment used
Canon 40D, 500mm TC1.4
What a fine shot of this little beauty Ian!

I've never been able to get anything nearly as good as this - I must say, their timing is perfect - they know exactly how long it takes me to focus, and they are very talented at hopping away at the exact moment between finishing focussing and pressing the shutter - it's nice to see somebody else fool them. ;) :'D

Wow Ian, if you're not happy with this one I can't wait to see the one that you reckon is perfect. I've only ever seen these feeding in trees at my old place, never on the ground.
