Yellow-Rumped Warbler (I think) (Setophaga coronata)

I believe that this is a young female Yellow-Rumped Warbler. It was taken on the edge of a wetland (swamp, really) on the south shore of Lake Erie on Sandusky Bay.

Any confirmation or correction of the species would be appreciated.

A marvelous close-up of this pretty Yellow-rumped Warbler with excellent eye contact. Terrific work Russ!

It certainly is a Butter-butt and so beautifully captured.

I'd have been puzzled by that one, without any of the bright yellow bits. Well spotted, well taken, and great job on the ID :t: :t:

What a wonderful find for you Russ. A super picture you've taken of this young lady.

We don't have a female image (of any age) in The Opus as yet, so I'll upload this lovely picture there shortly.

Many thanks for sharing it with us.
