I had my camera out in the front yard today, trying to get a few late afternoon bird shots. Everything that was around the yard I have taken plenty of photos of already. It was getting quite gloomy when I suddenly spotted this yellow rumped warbler. I was surprised because I had thought they were all gone south by now. Since it was getting dark I had the shutter set pretty low, and I had 25 tries at it, and only got this one decent shot. All the other ones were blurred. He even literally landed at my feet! I kid you not, it was on the lawn less than 10 feet away from me, and I still muffed the shot! ARGH! I will now be taking recommendations for a bridge camera that focuses fast and takes clean photos in high iso situations! lol!
