Yellow Rumped Warbler
Among the first warblers to arrive in spring, and the last to leave in the fall. This warbler is still hanging around, very actively catching insects. I watched it hiding in a Hawthorne shrub in our yard, flashing out to hawk insects right from the air now and then. Then it would come over to where I place some peanut butter to have a snack. Couldn't catch it hawking, my reflexes and camera are too slow, but when it stays still for a moment I can manage that! lol
