Yellow version of the Scarlet Tahager
Q

Yellow version of the Scarlet Tahager (Piranga olivacea)

The female that is. There was a brilliant scarlet male flashing around too. I actually had the male and the female in frame for a moment, but they only gave me a bottom half and bottoms-up moon shot. Hesitated for a moment hoping they'd give me something more that the moon and missed the opportunity for even that shot. The male then went off out of range, while the female did some posing for me.

LOL that sort of thing happens to me too Craig.

..... but I don't normally end up with a shot like this in compensation!!! Excellent work my friend. She's really rather pretty, isn't she.

A great close up of this female Craig. So different from the brilliantly colored male.
