This one too deserves a special comment,Nick! a "fte" of the colours,of the light,of the plentiful vegetation in an early summer...and the glorious pose of the yellow wagtail suits very well the whole composition of your picture!!
Regarding your comments to the other version, I would say
that this one fascinates me the same, it hasn't to do with popularity but with the heavy medium.
Maybe there is not the watercolour transparency but the rhythm is here and the colours
much more intensive!
Yes Nick - this goes down on my list of 'images I wish I'd created'. It's a beautifully rhythmical celebration of colour and light. Of the very toppermost order.
