Yellowhammer (Emberiza citrinella)

In fact most of this image is yellow (!) the background being gorse in full bloom.

Tawny update: At last a response from the local authority! The Ranger service have a bird handler whom they are going to contact with a view to cleaning out the box and treating the bird. If this fails, I have also made contact with a nearby RSPCA hospital who also may become involved if needed. Hopefully this long-running saga may come to a successful conclusion after all.

Love the Yellow on yellow here Brian, super capture mate...I'm surprised that poor Owl has survived until now, but good someones going to do something for it at long last.
