Yellowlegs
As it's over an hour's drive down to Petaluma from Sea Ranch, the fog didn't hang around all that long after we arrived at the wetlands. Then the sun brought color back into the landscape. Even the birds seemed happier ;) ... or is that just this Yellowlegs's slightly upturned bill, a sign that this was probably a Greater rather than the straight-billed Lesser.

That's a great picture you've got of the big one Ann (well I take your word for it that that's what it is LOL). I did see a little one many years ago but haven't a clue about how to separate them really.
