You can just wait your turn!! (Icterus cucullatus)

This Hooded Oriole was having a great time, showering in the fountain, right out side my gallery door. He ended up with a crowd waiting for their turn.

On side note, has anybody ever seen a House Finch with this coloring? He looks to me to be a bit of a cross between a Purple finch and the House Finch?

Definitely a Variant House Finch. I normally see one or two each year but none yet.

And need I say another cool capture of this bathing Oriole Tom.

Hi Tom

If your dippers are anything like our ones, look in rocky rivers and streams, particularly near a bridge, they often nest in holes under bridges.

Delia, yeah, I have been able to find them up in the US (Oregon, Idaho an Utah) as a kid, but would love to spend some time getting photos of them. Guess I will just have to take a road trip!!
