You know it's spring when ... (Cardinalis cardinalis)

the male Cardinal starts singing! Saw my first Eastern Bluebird of the season today, too -- a male perched on the wire above the neighbor's property. About two hours later, I saw a female perched on the same wire. Didn't get any good shots, though. Spring is definitely in the air, but we could still get more snow because March and early April are not too late for snow around here.
