You shall not pass!
Did I tell you it was hot? Well we'd now traveled into the back of beyond on a very bumpy dirt road. Coming up a brae there was a sign near the top which said Road Flooded... we all burst out laughing, until we rounded the bend and got down the bottom and were faced with this.

It may not look it but it was too deep for the car.

If you get your binoculars out, you may see two Tree Martins, one over each of the puddles. I'd seen my first one at Laratinga on my first full day in South Australia but didn't get a picture. Now I've captured two in flight... how's that for Saturday Fun?

We decided this was as good a place as any for our picnic lunch... we'd got shade, water and some little birds.

What a lovely place to have lunch at. Plus you got to see the birds. All the colors blends so well together Delia

A lovely Saturday fun image and I can see both of the Tree martins, Delia! A very nice place for a picnic too.

LOL! About like my swallow shot a few days ago. Don't think I'll be sharing that one. In fact, I'll probably just delete it. Mine doesn't have the saving value of being a good landscape shot or documenting this sort of surprising situation.
