You Showoff (Phalacrocorax carbo)

Great Cormorant I believe. I am new to birding so could be wrong. Not the best of pictures I know but I'm trying to improve my bird photos using the D200 with a Nikon 70-200 lens. The biggest problems I'm having are exposure and lens length. Size matters in birding.

I'm also trying to capture the more interesting or unusual activities of birds.

1/4000 sec @ f/3.5, ISO 320, 200mm

Some Processing in PS CS3. Shadow/Highlight, Colour Correction and Sharpening.
