This is a smokin' closeup and beautifully detailed closeup of this Gray Heron. Can't tell the age though.

I've never been too sure how to age these guys Peter, sorry. A great picture you've taken of him, so I'm sure it should be possible.

I think your best bet is to ask in the [COLOR="Blue"]ID forum[/COLOR], they'll know for sure.
