Young Northern Goshawk (Accipiter gentilis)

I keep coming back to this atypical view of this young goshawk. I think it has a unique finely patterned plumage that his shot shows nicely.
Habitat
Sandy scrub
Location
Tawas Point, Michigan USA
Date taken
October 12, 2007
Scientific name
Accipiter gentilis
Equipment used
Canon 30D w/ Canon 70-300mm IS
I love overhead shots like this and as you said it shows the patterns nicely. Unique subject beautifully captured.
