Young Rocky..

Young Rocky..

no, don't mean this is a prequel to all them boxing movies!!! Think this is a juvenile Rock Pipit, on the basis there were a couple of adults, flitting about nearby, mind you, i could be wrong :)
Habitat
Coastal
Location
just outside of Seahouses, Northumberland
Date taken
25/06/08
Equipment used
30D + 100-400mm
:bounce: Super pic of this feathered mini-Stallone, Mike, has to be a Rocky Pipit judging by the quarrelsome pose and expression... not a very scientific conclusion, isn't it? ;)

Lovely - also answers a question I had with some grey "pipit" I'd seen in Devon recently :t:

Cheers.

Glad i could help 'DP', as normally the only question i seem to answer is "no sugar for me, thanks" :) These birds do seem grey, certainly compared to a Meadow Pipit. Thanks for your comments. Mike
