Young Sacred Kingfisher (Todiramphus sanctus)

This little kingfisher had hit a branch while diving in the fiddermans creek. Was a little shaken but eventually took off and I saw him over the next few days (recognised by missing tail feathers).

Saltwater creek on ocean beach.
