Young Thrush.

Now its well known that this is Brenda's favorite bird and many of you have posted your images of them to her, and many have emailed or mailed wonderful images of your own Thrushes for which Brenda and I have been moved by this fact. Well while photographing the Starlings and Cherries the other day out of the blue this beautiful young Thrush landed in the Birch tree I was allowed five quick frames not able to avoid the intervening branches, but I always think "well" thats where it landed so take what you can get, so no excuses for the out of focus intrusion. So for all the kind people who spoilt Brenda with your Thrush images here is one back!! cheers Ken.

A great shot nicely composed and framed, my friend. It looks close to our juvenile American Robin (another thrush).

Perfect colours and lighting! Actually, there is nothing to complain about at all! Thank you, Ken!

Excellent work Ken...I am sure Brenda will be over the moon with this one just as I would be.

What a splendid image Ken! I didn't even notice the twig until you mentioned it, too busy just looking at the bird...an excellent capture, congratulations! :t:
