Im hoping to get up to North Wales next week, staying near Portmadog does anyone know of any reliable sites for Nightjars?

The North Wales Wildlife Trust reserve at the Old Powder Works, Penrhyndeudraeth is guaranteed. Ask the staff at the Glaslyn Osprey project for detailed directions is you cant find it.

Thanks Kelvin, thats the advice i had from the good people at the Osprey viewpoint. Unfortunately the windy conditions made it pointless trying to see them, thanks again
