No, I never saw this type of glare with the Bresser. It covers a large part of the FOV instead of just near the edge like a lot of glare does.

Veiling glare, lens flare, image fogging--none of those sound quite as snappy! I imagine a generation of returned merchandise forms with this new term (now in wide circulation on the interwebs) as a technical flaw. :smoke:

The size picture posted by Phil was appreciated, and it does show how
these compare. They look like a great travel compact.
This past weekend, I spent some time with my grandson, and he is only 2 years old.
After seeing some of the memory comparison posts by Dennis, I am thinking my Grandson, would be a better source of information.
As far as veiling glare issues, many would agree, it depends.
I do think of archive searches, and requested to get this thread moved to the Nikon subforum, and now I see it is relegated to the cellar, and that
is a peeve of mine. Place the topics where they belong.

Not only is it impossible to replicate a lighting condition and compare binoculars fairly in terms of glare/flare, but I wonder if different people´s eyes have anything to do with it? Is there a possibility that some people are more susceptible to glare than others (like the famous RB debate), or is the glare all in the optics?
