I had no idea this thread even existed!

These are the BF members I've ticked so far in no particular order (or at least the ones I remember!) All were sighted in Cairns under varying conditions except where said otherwise:

MJB, Andrew Whitehouse, Larry Wheatland, kstrating, Isurus, Vectis Birder, travellingbirder, Alan Moore, Wompoo Dove, Solwara, Selsey Birder, Birdingcraft (In Costa Rica).

I narrowly dipped on Chris Benesh due to a miscommunication on my availability and have spoken to HalfTwo (whilst in Ireland) and Dominic Cormier on the phone.

I have little doubt that I've met several other members whilst living in the UK but can't be absolutely certain.

I think those were the only new ones - so nice to get my annual Delia tick. Let's make it twice this year, if we can.

What are the rules about ticking former members who no longer appear on BF?

If they're still out there somewhere but not making frequent appearances then they've become a rare and you're lucky to have clocked one. If they're actually extinct ( as a member or in RL ) then you'd have to get them reaccepted to tick them.

It appears that he should have been possibly the first on my list as apparently he met me at Titchwell whilst I was digiscoping many years ago and because I had been talking so much about Birdforum he went straight home and joined Birdforum in Jan 2003.

I have forgotten to update this list of late and there have been a few members I have met that I can no longer remember the user names but three that I can are JHDraytonbassetpits (John) seen in January at Edison Road, Hams Hall, Near Coleshill, Moocher (Phill) seen at New Fancy Viewpoint in February and glynh at RSPB Balnarald, North Uist last Saturday.

That brings me up to 180.
