I finally found a set of these that didn't cost me an arm and a leg. I will have them in my hands by midweek. I've heard they are excellent for birding, but only so-so for stargazing. Anyone have these, and what do you think of them?

I've yet to find a Swift porro I didn't like.

they look in very nice condition, well done :) I can't comment on how good they are as I've yet to land a pair but they should be good, look a bit like the Audubon range so should perform well.

I got them today. I like them a lot. Views are nice and sharp and focus is easily achieved. Not as huge as I thought they were going to be. Hefty, but not heavy. Nice balance in my hands. The sweet spot seems pretty large.

I bought a pair of these in 1999 and still use them, they give a very nice 3D image.
Enjoy them in good health!
Cheers,
T.
