Hoverfly (?) from Wiltshire in September (1 Viewer)

I saw this on 13 September at Blakehill, a large meadow reserve in north Wiltshire. I'm baffled and iNaturalist isn't helping much. Can anyone give me some pointers?

Did you try looking it up in one of the guides available, you should be able to find it readily as is one of our commonest species - Platycheirus albimanus
