Hi everyone

Feel a bit daft asking but I assumed this was a blackbird when I took the photo, am I correct?
It was with a regular looking male blackbird and a couple of Starlings.

Thanks
Ben

A lovely portrait of this female blackbird, Ben.

Hi Ben and a warm welcome to you from all the Staff and Moderators.

You'll find the guys here a very knowledgable and helpful lot, so I'm sure you'll enjoy your time with us. I look forward to hearing your news too.

Agree with immature (1st-winter) male - too blackish for a female. The yellow beak only develops later in late winter / spring.
