Looking at the tail feathers I'm leaning towards red shoulder hawk. Thank you for your help

I have seen quite a few red-shouldered hawks around south Jersey as of late....

It's an immature bird.

I would just add that two other features visible in this photo are the heavily barred secondaries and the lack of a pattern to the whitish back mottling. Red-tailed often shows a pale "V" across the back.
