Was being chased off by a pair of smaller birds (which I couldnt identify either).
Taken at around 8 am.
Thinking female sparrowhawk...

Looks like kestrel for me too. Did it do the flap - flap - glide thing? As I am often not good with this sort of ID - I use it to ID sprawks!

Didn't actually have enough time to catch the flight pattern really but yeah now that I think of it it does look more like a kestrel !
