Juv Honey buzzard? (1 Viewer)

Initially thought this was Common buzzard but after checking the photos im now sure its something else. Lacking either the breast band or pale inner wing bar of C. buzzard one of which i would expect to see even on dark morphs.
Third photo is foreshortened but still shows i believe the broader wings and tail of Honey buzzard. Photos heavily cropped but colour match is good on my camera. Taken mid morning at Petrovac coastal mountains in Montenegro. Steppe buzzard can be here on migration too.

Is this the same image as in another thread title Buzzard / Bonelli's posted by you? A bit confusing.

Well! Every day is a school day. Consider me well and truly learned.

Honey Buzzard. I am happy to be corrected and even happier that the Mallorca thread have a smack dab near identical bird.
