I was extremely surprised to see this little bittern watching the marbled teals at El Clot from the reeds- I thought these fly off to Africa or something at the end of the year. Given this region sometimes holds ospreys in the winter though, I think I shouldn't be as surprised. First time I ever see this thing.

You did well to spot him through the vegetation.

Mostly it was because he flew up at one point and resetlled in the place he is sitting on the picture. I would have never seen him. I was almost about to head out when he moved!

We don't see a whole lot of images of this particular Bittern and another lovely capture through the vegetation Gleb!
