BirdForum has successfully operated and grown to what is now the largest natural history site on the web according to Google Analytics. We are delighted by the success of the forum, and the support we receive from our members, but obviously there are significant costs incurred in running this forum and these are increasing as the site, and resources needed to main it, continue to grow.

In the past we have considered moving to a membership subscription model to support the running of the forum, but would prefer to avoid this. We feel BirdForum is enhanced by giving free and easy access even to the casual visitor. We are therefore looking at alternative options to help finance the continued success of the forum and hope you will consider supporting us with these.

We are also able to accept Paypal donations from members who are willing and able to contribute towards supporting the ongoing running of BirdForum and to say thank you, we have put together a supporters pack for those who donate. See below for more information on the supporter benefits package.
Every donation will make a difference; your contribution will help us continue to offer free subscriptions to all members, to be a free resource of information on the web to those new to the site, to ensure we can continue to support the technical running and hosting of the forum and successfully moderate the forum to ensure it stays an informative, safe and enjoyable web resources for all our members.

Hopefully you feel the site and the work we do to support our members is worth a donation and this would represent a small token of your pleasure.
If you are willing to make a contribution, please click on the 'Make A Donation' button below.

Thank you for your valuable support to help make BirdForum an ongoing success…
