    These were found in either Serengeti or Ngorongoro Crater and my wife and I couldn't identify them. We were guessing but decided to get some feedback from the birdwatching public. Appreciate your input.

    I love to see photos like this one shot with an ordinary camera. This photo is a great example of the rewards of patience instead of a 1000mm lens on the end of an $5000 DSLR. Love these woodpeckers! Is the suet feeder near your house?
