    Duovid Optical Construction

I could easily persuaded to add a 8 to 12 to my arsenal of Leica's. Preferably with green armoring. One can dream... :D

Mono pod suggestions for a Swarovski 8x56

David, This is what I use SIRUI AM-404FL+QC-38 Professional Quick Setup Monopod plus a BOG pod BOG Binocular Rest | Bog. The BOG works great stationary from a blind etc., but I would not grab the monopod with the binos on top sneaking through the woods, the rubber strap is not secure...

    Leaving Swarovski for Meopta ?

@wall, you will not be disappointed with your new purchase. Please keep us updated. I have the 15x56 of your version, and quite frankly, the Svaro SLC 15x56 has nothing on it.

    NL >=50 mm versions?

Should that be the case (which is pure speculation at this time), I venture to guess that we will see a distinct increase of used 12x42 NL's for sale, folks replacing it with the 12x52. That configuration will sell well, no doubt.

    Leica eye candy....

Thank you for your response @chill6x6. Oh man, that's a real bummer. I am sorry this happened to you. I just hope it still will show up.

Nice non-Leica case for the Trinovid 10x25 BCA

Same here. As a matter of fact, I pick my field shirts by the size of their chest pockets. Too many wannabe garments these days go more by looks than practicality. Might as well have the best

Maybe still (one of) the best binoculars for in the woods

For drooling purposes only, @Thotmosis green 7x Trini...

A true classic, and fine choice.

Leica Trinovid 10x32 BN vs HD

Welcome to Birdforum, fellow Northerner, Both of your choices are fine binoculars. The Leica 10x32 BN has been my first quality binocular, it was THE Leica flagship bino back then. In the Trini line it was followed by the Trinovid 2011-2015 model, which has been superseded be the Trinovid HD...

Nice non-Leica case for the Trinovid 10x25 BCA

My favorite "on-me-at-all-times" camera is the Canon PowerShot SX740HS. My old case for it got tired, I was looking for a new one, and settled on another Lowepro, the Tahoe CS 20. The original Leica soft leather case has been serving me quite well, yet is somewhat tight, and will not house the...

    A strange 8x32 choice.

Wonderful. I think you decided very well, and will have much fun with them. Enjoy your new NL's in good health (y)
