    No photo I'm afraid but had a chequered black and white day flying moth on Kelling Heath (heathland habitat) in Norfolk this weekend. Any ideas?

    Only one bird heard only on my life list: Seychelles Scops Owl.....and only on there cos that's what it was, there was noone else around to be taping and I won't be going back to Seychelles anytime soon! (And its my list lol)

    Best I not mention the 30 Smooth Newts I counted in my garden pond a couple of weeks ago then! The spawn from the 6 frogs has now hatched so a mass of tadpoles too now.

    Need help identifying this bird of prey...

    I use Google Lens quite a bit for plants and it seems quite accurate but then again a) I'm not expert on what it tells me although i know enough to know if its very wrong And b) I can get a very close photo of these! So it can be a useful tool in certain scenarios
