    Zeiss 10x40 SFL - Roger Vine's Review

I have a Zeiss Victory 8x25 binoculars made in Japan. I compared it with the Noctivid 8x42 that I have and with the NL 8x42 that I sold. In my opinion, the image provided by Victory is at least equal to that provided by NL and a hair sharper than Noctivid. I have astigmatism and Victory's...

Zeiss SFL versus Zeiss Victory FL contrast and color reproduction.

I had a Zeiss SF 10x32 but after 2 weeks I realized that the 10x32 format does not suit me due to the exit pupil of 3.2 mm and in addition quite a lot of parasitic reflections especially with the strong front light. I had to part with it even though I liked the resolution, contrast and colors...

Zeiss SFL versus Zeiss Victory FL contrast and color reproduction.

Yes, I think you are very right here because I have noticed that I have this obsession with wanting to see more colorful colors through the binoculars than in reality,:)

Zeiss SFL versus Zeiss Victory FL contrast and color reproduction.

I know that when it comes to the appreciation of colors and contrast, people can be extremely subjective because not everyone perceives colors in the same way, but I would like to know if there are such big differences that almost anyone can notice them. I have this curiosity because in many...

Zeiss SFL versus Zeiss Victory FL contrast and color reproduction.

I have two 42 mm binoculars: Zeiss Victory FL 7x42 and Leica Noctivid 8x42 and I would like to keep only one but I can't decide because I love both : the over saturated colors of Noctivid and the cleaner colors of Victory. I've read a lot of reviews about the new Zeiss SFL and I think that since...

Ultravid 10x25 BR. My first alpha class pocketable binocular.

Unfortunately, microscope rubber eyepiece guards are no longer in stock on Amazon. Maybe it's just your post to blame, everyone rushed to buy. 🤣

    Zeiss SFL 8x30?

Opportunity knocks at your door at the most inopportune moment, I had just found for sale here in Romania two Zeiss SF 8x32 and 10x32 for 1300 euros each. , and I think I can get them even cheaper because the seller has no documents, box or accessories with them. When I was getting ready to make...

    Zeiss SFL 8x30?

Does anyone have any idea what size it is and how much it weighs? Compared on the photo next to the 40 mm SFL, using a graduated ruler and a simple arithmetic calculation. it seems to be 114-115 mm long. The weight should be between 420-460 grams.

New Zeiss binos 8x40 SFL and 10x40 SFL

On my screen the image from SFL shows the whitest white but the details appear clearer in NL and SF. I also notice small yellow areas in some places in the photo taken by SFL
