    Primary and Secondary Feather rotation

    Hello, I have a question about bird biology that I'm hoping some one can answer. What is the vertical rotational range, if any, at the base of a bird's primary and secondary feathers? I believe there is an elastic tendon that allows the some movement up and down but I'm unsure how much. Thanks...
