Red and yellow bird.. any ideas anyone? Looks like a massive Robin! Maybe a red breasted flycatcher?

Hi and welcome to BirdForum. Definitely Robin. Size is difficult to judge sometimes. I was convinced I had a Lesser Spotted Woodpecker once. Took a photo and there was the red vent. Looked tiny from a distance. Rich

Very busy at the bird feeder today!

Hi Ev. They seem to like the sunflower seed. No Bramblings here either and I only heard Greenfinch once last year. They’re in the local area though so I’m hoping they’ll come back. Rich

Very busy at the bird feeder today!

Female Bullfinch has arrived. Sparrowhawk flashed through yesterday. 2 Woodpigeons under the feeders which is unusual for us. Not unhappy as they are clearing up all the seed on the ground.

    Good evening

Hi Paul and welcome to BirdForum. I stayed in a cottage there a few years ago. Beautiful place. I know you can get Chough at South Stack. Hopefully one of our North Wales members maybe able to give some other locations. Rich

Birds you have seen but want to see in summer plumage

Maybe a Sabine’s Gull here. Grey Phal would also be nice though. Rich

    Griswold’s Vacations 2022

Planning on a week in Norfolk with the family for February half term. Just booked the ferry for North Uist at the end of May. Have chosen the Uig to Lochmaddy crossing this time. I’ve been told it’s less likely to be cancelled than the the Mallaig to Lochboisdale route. Hope this is the case...
