Cheers Jaff , as with most things it was luck . When we arrived the Little Stint was up one of the channels in the distance but feeding along the waters edge . Then a herd of cows arrived and gradually drove all the birds towards the hide ( what a result ! ) .

Don't see a problem myself since the bird's disappeared , I haven't given the location of a nest and nobody even knows if they've bred in the area .

It's quite difficult sometimes where birds are concerned...while you want them to breed successfully when they're on your property you have to contend with the resulting mess . Luckily you don't have any classic cars parked in your garage ( or do you ? )
