    This was taken near a rookery near where I grew up in Greeley, CO. It is so much fun to watch them, they make some great vocalizations. This photo shows one at the end of a landing near its nest.

    A Great Blue Heron sunning itself in a goofy pose. I assume it must be drying its wings. After maybe five minutes he took off and I got the flight photo that I also posted today.
