Looking for a good super zoom compact camera

There's currently nothing in the camera market place that fits your need as you indicate it needs to be small with a superzoom capability.

    Attract cardinals in my backyard

Easy but it will take time. 1. Scorched earth...stop all feeding, when the Sparrows no longer come wait a additional week then return feeding. 2. And feed using Grey Striped Sunflower seeds only and when the Cardinals return after a couple of weeks add additional types of seed...as in...

    Comedy Wildlife Photography

Interesting post...this is much akin to why I engage in the act of birding and photography. This because my interest is in the unspoken language or reading posture and communicating via that way of interacting with a like species and recording it by way using a camera.

    types of feed ?

Firstly I believe you meant Black Oil Sunflower seed and it is a great winter time seed but as important is the Grey Striped Sunflower seed. Yuh birds by nature will go for cracked corn a what I call filler to a mixed offering but many times when birds see something that is new to them they...

    Contaminated Bird Feed?

Ah...summer warmer weather and a time that breeding elevates. If you're a Northern Red Cardinal paired to a mate you are likely flat out breeding machines. And although those are Cardinals something other birds are not. When the breeding begins I start to throttle back on my feeding routine and...

Here ya go...they serve several purposes at my site. Overall they quiet or bring down the temperature allowing the birds to feel safe and protect against hawks.

    Birds stopped eating millet

OF the 2 Millets white is their least favorite but beyond that both red and white are at the bottom of the list in regards to birds liking any seed that's why most bags of seed found have lots of millet. Seed sellers see it as just a filler to increase profits.

Hawk's chasing other birds that feed in yard.

That can be addressed by making your own feeder...included is an image of the type that I make. They are Hawk proof...squirrel proof and because safe when rained on because the platform is made using engineered home siding that does not absorb water. Hawk proof because the branches that are...

Feedback Needed! Student Bird Feeder Project

When designing anything your 1st goal is to identify overall goals to which you failed as far enthusiasm goes in designing gadgets you win, that people might purchase these and why is what humans are prone to do albeit the birds will go somewhere else as they need a safe uncomplicated means to...

Sparrows demand more sunflower seeds after first week of supply

The oil within the seed is what birds need especially in colder climates. Those oils are compromised with age and the chips will age sooner out of the shell.

Sparrows demand more sunflower seeds after first week of supply

Bring down the temperature of your feeding site/allow them to feel safer. In turn you'll get a wider variety and they will not be as jumpy. Just placing random feeders/plates without adjoining cover i.e. canopy or the ability to stage will always create a problem.

    Best seed for doves?

Dove will eat any and all but if you mix in some Safflower they'll eat only those until they're gone.
