Not sure if anybody used this any more but here's a trip report from last week's jaunt round Linton, Cresswell and Druridge. As usual had a blast. http://bangorwestndcp.blogspot.com/2023/02/a-trip-to-england.html?m=1

Little egret and audouins gulls correct. My thinking on others are: 5 whitethroat. 1 sub-alpine warbler? 2 serin. 3 no idea but not Balearic warbler.

Thoroughly enjoying the posts and wishing I was there. I can walk the local coastal path along the south shore of Belfast Lough but am missing loads of migrants. No willow warbler singing as yet as I can't get to the right habitat, but at least I am allowed out and really shouldn't complain...

Thought about a May visit but "c'est la vie". I was hoping to be in England over Easter visiting Leighton Moss but even that's on hold. At least I can get out so the local patch will be well covered (54 and counting). Trust you are out before migration really kicks in.

Good day out, report later. 75 species starting with barn owl, finishing with water rail and 3 Marsh harriers in between. Managed not to find the smew due to difficulty in standing up and keeping the scope steady!! PS couldn't find a pied wagtail!!

Not sure if anyone is using the thread, but it's all I have to use. Hoping to do my annual visit around February 20-22 and looking for anything out of the ordinary in the Cresswell/Druridge/Hauxley area. Plus a place to see yellowhammers

Nice little terms at Long Nanny but an absence of little owls at the farm on the corner leading into Druridge links. Any updates appreciated as I can check again tomorrow.
