    Draycote gull roost advice please

Yes you can cycle round Draycote. I haven’t done the roost for some time so wouldn’t like to say if one spot is best .

    Village weaver

Is this a Village weaver ? It has been in my Warwickshire garden for 3 days - clearly an escape.

Rare and Scarce Birds in Warwickshire

I will be onsite by 05.45am. There is a Golf course backing on to the FC onto which the bird could disappear but hoping for a Warwickshire tick today ! If anyone does not know the FC is off Knights lane , Tiddington. Edit. No sign in a 2 hour early morning search - no other birders looking.

509 for England then if my maths is correct , that is good going , I doubt that many could better that.

    Scottish Independence

An English does have certain simplicity but looking at BUBO not many birders keep one . How many would there be over 500 ?

www.draycotebirding.co.uk Parking £2.50 ,for Farborough bank walk from the car park towards the visitor centre and go to your right ,see the site map. Of course the Diver could be anywhere but Farborough bank seems to be where it is reported from most. A full circuit is about 5 miles.

Hello and looking for site gen

Much closer to home try Loxley. Head out of Wellesboune on a minor road on the south side of the airfield for 2 miles , in Loxley turn left and go up the hill through the village and right at the top of the hill there is an obvious layby.
