I'm from Cantley, yourself? Yeh we have got decent birding places nearby haven't we, i think alot of places are underwatched though. The only disadvantage i have alot of the time is, it has to be pushchair friendly which limits my options on where i can go.

they are seen a few times a week on lakeside, the best bet would be to go to potteric carr because they have been seen daily recently. I would think the grebes on lakeside are the one from potteric.

sometimes a walk round lakeside near potteric carr can be productive, in the last few weeks theres been little gulls and artic terns seen, aswell as black necked grebe.

each to their own i think, i'm 24, football mad, i love dance music and i'm a bit of a party animal. Also i'm a very keen birder but when i mention this people look at me gone out as i dont look like a 'typical' birdwatcher!!! My wife has little digs at me every now and then but she enjoys the walks
Mal, being out on the coast you should have tried to fit bempton, theres been 2 peregrine showing really well and theres been puffin seen on the sea. The gw teal at north cave hasnt been seen for 4 days i was told today

My scope from aldi imo is quite good, i can use up to 45x no problem, but then again its my first scope so i've got no comparision really and the reserves i have been going to dont require a good long distance scope
I'm after buying a new scope but i'm unsure of which one as yet but what advice i'm after is what is a better option buy a cheaper brand with a bigger lens or a better brand with a smaller lens. I know both will have their advantages/disadvantages. I have a budget of £300.
Any opinions would...
its not on the website, it was in a flyer i picked up in a local store. Not read too many good reviews about it to be honest, i'm going to stick with my aldi beast till i save up enough cash for a better one!
