Moved to Shetland from bird free Central Scotland to finally enjoy my birding. Now live in a wee cottage on Yell, and am loving it. Would recomend it to anyone for the birds, people, way of life and house prices.

Best local patch self-finds include; Tennessee Warbler, Brown Shrike, WW Scoter, Isabelline Shrike, Spotted Sandpiper and the UK's 2nd EY Wagtail (1st was over 100 years earlier)
