    don't hate my whirly squirlies at all but I do my best to keep them grounded. Lord knows with all the seed the blue jays throw around there's enough for all the ground feeders. I cant afford to keep up with the jays and the squirrels emptying my feeders.

    I use WBU deluxe low mess in my main hopper and tube feeder. Which is black & striped sunflower with white millet and safflower . We also run the pb&j suet .     Still here in Fla to . My gold finches have finally thinned out so it shouldn't be long. Real busy winter feeding for me . I was using 60lbs a month from Nov till April to keep up with only a tube feder and 1 hopper.

    Miserable Birders???

    This is the reason I usually go birding alone or with only 1 or 2 people of my choosing. That being said we don't seem to have the "hide issue" over here in the states I seem to hear Europeans talking about. Lots of people seem to dislike them .
