    You could perhaps go see the Snowy Owl on the island of Texel, wich is at about an hour and a half drive to the boat, then about 20 minutes with the boat and another 20 minutes on the island. There is also a Green Winged Teal on Texel.

    A greenshank would have green legs and a upturned bill This is definately a Redshank (and a Wood Sandpiper)
