In the last few days, i have come home to the bird feeders scattered across the garden. It seems to be the squirrels and the magpies doing the most damage. so what can i do to keep the bird feeders in one piece?
Although nothing has nested in the nextbox we've got with a camera in, there is a Blackbird nest in clear view of the lounge window so i'm hoping to get some good photos of the pair.
Meanwhile, Dunnocks and Robins have been round the feeders and lots of goldfinvhes in the trees.
I went to Burton Mere today, surprisingly nice reception and hides there, Saw Avocet, Redshank, Reed Bunting, Black-Tailed-Godwit, Little Egret and buzzard there.
All my photos from today are in my blog which there is a link for in the signature below.

Went to Parkgate on The Wirral today, The plan was to get there as the tide was coming in but didn't really get there in time. Did see quite a few Little egrets and a Spoonbill along with some oystercatchers so i'm now on 46 this year :).
