    UPDATE: after feeding him for a few hours he started chirping and i put his nest on the windowsill where he hopped/flew to a little olive tree. he's still sitting there. but i'm still interested as to what type of bird he is.

    Today I found a baby bird in my backyard. It was so tiny I thought it was a frog. I called my neighbor and he told me to leave it there and that the mother would find it. Well, 8 hours later I went swimming in my pool when I realized that it was clinging to the side of the pool halfway submerged...
