    Are Your Bird Feeders Spreading Deadly Diseases?

    I have had some sad experience with two diseases that I hope anyone who feeds wild birds will learn about. You may be intentionally spreading avian pox or trichomonas at your backyard feeders. Please learn how to prevent that. Read more about diseases spread at feeders.

    Bird Banding in Saint Joseph, Missouri, USA

    This "banding is a bit upsetting to me. I would like to learn more about it. Doesn't it stress these little guys terribly to be caught? I would also like to learn more about proper banding techniques. I have read that banding is a hazard to the birds. Any reassurance?
