what will be brighter in dark hours - Swarovski EL 8.5x42 SV or Meopta B1 8x56?

are saying that from experience with Meopta and Swaro or just guessing? i can get Meopta 8x56 for $850 vs SLC 8x56 for $1950. I already own 8.5x42 EL. So I am trying to decide.

what will be brighter in dark hours - Swarovski EL 8.5x42 SV or Meopta B1 8x56?

Denco, because 3% difference is not obvious. Will 8x56 meopta will be a lot brighter than EL 8.5x42 because of 55% more light entering into the binocular? Will the difference be noticeable only when my eyes are dilated more than 5mm ?

what will be brighter in dark hours - Swarovski EL 8.5x42 SV or Meopta B1 8x56?

So All you guys are saying that even 91% light transmission of Swarovski will be beaten by 88% light transmission of Meopta? If yes , then my other question is that will SLC 8x56 with 93% light transmission be a lot brighter than Meopta or will they be close?

An evaluation of the NL’s performance from Poland

Yes when I say eyebox it means what you refer to as transparency where you feel the view is easy on eyes, natural and like there is no glass between eyes and the object in focus. When I compared NL to noctavids/ultravids, I got the same view. I don’t dislike NLs! But I think they are...

An evaluation of the NL’s performance from Poland

I have no budget issues. I compared 8.5x42 el and 8x42 nl for half an hour at eurooptics in Pennsylvania. I did not find any major improvements. Eye box was little better but eye relief was tighter. I ended up buying el 12x50 to compliment my el 8.5x42. I also placed an order for slc 8x56 last...

Check out the edge clarity of s2 30-60 with nova grade adapter

Looks good. What say? I had to reduce the image size to upload though. Pictures take after sunset at 60 yards at 30x. So focus might not be perfect.

pre 2016 EL 8.5x42 vs field pro - close focus distance

I compared old specs vs new and it has changed from 1.5 to 3.3. Field of view is still the same. Does anybody know why this happened. Was it a type or Swarovski actually changed the close focus distance? I have the pre 2016 version and wanted to trade in for field pro version. Does this mean my...

Want the best 3D effect- 8x56 vs 10x56 slc

I saw slc 8x56 in a store I really like to eyebox and that’s it. Where is the wow effect!??? They did not have 10x56 in store to compare. Which bingo will give brightest 3D view with wow effect? My el 12x50 has wow effect! I don’t like my 2015 el 8.5x42 anymore! Please advise.
