    Birding in London

Can anyone recommend any good spots for birding in London and possiby wildlife photography? I find Hampstead Heath pretty good for woodpeckers, there are some kestrals that are always present on the turret of the climbing wall at the north end of Clissold Park. I ve seen the odd sparrowhawk...

    Bird Photography

I got into wildlife photography just over 1 year ago using budget gear - Nikon D40 and a Sigma zoom lens. If anyone is interested, check out my bird set, click on 'set' and then 'slideshow' for best viewing: http://www.flickr.com/photos/josephwilkes/

    Camargue

The birding in Namibia is amazing, hoopoos, helmeted guinea fowl, goshawks, lappet faced vultures (ripping a dead wilderbeast to pieces), hornbills, eagle owls, etc... All of which I could identify but the eagle wasn't in the bird book. Thanks for your suggestions. The other place I visited...

    Camargue

Dear All, am going to the Camargue next month. Just wondered if anyone has any tips, good birding spots, etc... Also, what bird is this? Taken last summer in Namibia.
