Curious to know if any of you frequent users of the Pures have used the soap and brush kit? Did it clean up the binos and remove any stains? Does it restore the ‘new’ look after application? I like the burnt orange color that is offered on the new NL Pure 32s, but how will that color...

I talked to the local store today—no NLs in stock, but the price is decided by corporate, not going to sell them at the ‘usual’ 10% off that other retailers/ mail order sell at. I have not had the pleasure of handling one yet, but apparently the local store will not get my business...

OK, I understand that the NL Pures are the hottest items in optics at this time in 8x, 10x and 12x, and availability is low in the U.S., but how can firms like Sportsman’s Warehouse try to get away with charging full retail price for them? Of course, Swarovski North America charges full retail...

Has anyone checked to see if the Swarovski UTA (universal tripod adapter) will work with the new NL Pure? It seems that the narrow waist of the Pure might be too ‘loose’ with the band that secures the bino. Considering that the UTA was built for the SLC and ELs, curious to know if it will work...

Importing via Jan in the NL Four plus years ago, when the Swaro 8/10x56 SLCs could not be ordered in North America, I went through Jan at the House of Outdoors and bought an 8x56 and a 10x56 and had them shipped to me. Euro/dollar exchange rate was favorable to me, no VAT, no import duties...

Build date for a 804r HR 5? Just picked up an excellent Swift 804r HR5 with the fully multi optics (FMC). It had the black nylon bino bag, not the leatherette brown hard case, so I knew it was a newer build. The serial number showed #201xxx—does that make it a year 2000 build? I thought they...

Will NL case accommodate forehead rest? Jan or Gils may know the answer to this: Does the NL bino case that comes with the NL large enough to accommodate the NL binos with the headrest attached? I am looking at the 12x42 and would find it more convenient to just leave it attached to the bino.

Have to agree with Henry—I made two purchases through Jan on products I couldn’t get in the States and what a wonderful person to deal with! Best experience I ever had on purchasing optics! Great write up Jan!
