Caspian Tit or Sombre Tit? Iran, Mazandaran, Sep. 2020

Yes we do see it. And you don't need to actually send an email to get it. You can just click on a user's name and see their email, adress, last login etc.

Caspian Tit or Sombre Tit? Iran, Mazandaran, Sep. 2020

I think this part is about flagging and not private messaging. Also see your #15. My replies were for these, obviously I would have no opposition to a messaging system that doesn't involve reviewers.

Caspian Tit or Sombre Tit? Iran, Mazandaran, Sep. 2020

Says you :) I am an eBird reviewer and the amount of false flags I get can get very painful. And this is only from frequent users. BF has many members joining on the discussion of ID on a public forum, it is NOT the same as eBird. I can manage if I have a lot of filter records to review but...

Caspian Tit or Sombre Tit? Iran, Mazandaran, Sep. 2020

...which is exactly what eBird reviewers do. If everyone could do it it would be a total mess. eBird already grants users with +100 checklist in a year the ability to report photos to reviewers, and most of these turn out to be unnecessary (in Turkey anyway). It is not a 'failing' in any way...

    Sparrow, Turkey

Seen yesterday in Ankara among House Sparrows (and a few young Tree). I think it looks good for a House x Spanish hybrid. Limited grey on crown, white cheeks, tramlines on mantle, black on breast turning into streaking. Last photo to show local House Sparrows. What'd you think?

Unknown Warbler? (Netherlands, Veluwemeer Gelderland, 1st of July 2022)

It is nonetheless a Common Reed Warbler. Savi's (and Locustella) have rounded white wing edges and fuller tails. Marsh excluded by rufous rump, primary edges etc.

Looking at my phone screen but I'd say the eye seems almost completely shut in this. I can just about the the edges of the eyelids very close together. I wouldn't know the reason behind it though.
